Last year my new year's resolution for dA was to get 5,000 pageviews. I didn't get it. I had another thousand to go. Aw well.

This year is going to be a little different. I am going to try instead to get more watchers. I have about 20 watchers now. I want to get at least 40 by the end of 2010! Also I want to get more favs. The most favs I have ever got from one of my deviations was 8. I want to try and get at least 15 favs for at least one of deviations.

Please don't take this journal the wrong way and think I am asking you guys fav my stuff more often! That is not what this is about. This is just a goal I setting for myself in order to try harder and improve my art.

Ok I just got done with my exams friday. I am so worried! I already know I made a 72 on my geometry test! I thought I had done well but I guess I was wrong. I think I did good in Astronomy and History but I could be wrong about those too. I know I did good on my English test! It was so easy! It was all on a Midsummer Night's Dream. I didn't even study and I'm pretty sure I got an A.

So it's Christmas break and I need to finish some drawings for christmas presents for some friends. It going to be tough considering I only have 5 days left and I haven't started!

I really want to start working more with color but...I am so used to just pencil. It's hard to get the hang of pastels. You know how they say"Beginner's Luck". Well I think might have got that. In my opinion my first pastel drawing(Night Light) was pretty good. I tried it again but I failed miserably. So I went back to using a regular pencil. I need to get out of that habit.

I need to work on ~KDElive's picture for our art trade. The theme is winter. I already finished two art trades with two other deviants but they are still not done. I don't mean to company but we started over 2 months ago! They should be done by now. Hopefully they will be done BEFORE the end of the year!
